CONTRIBUTE NOW

Outreach

To be outward focused is to simply focus outward. It is to shift our focus of reaching others from inside the church to outside the church walls. While we won’t neglect loving people and building relationships within the church, we believe that the church is called to leave the building and simply serve people. We capture this idea in an easy catch phrase, “Simply Serve Someone”, and see it modeled by Jesus in Matthew 20:28, “… the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many (NIV).”

Servant Evangelism: You don’t have to go across the globe to have a mission trip type experience. We recognize the need for mission work across borders, but also understand that mission work happens right in our own neighborhoods. Servant Evangelism is an easy, fun way to reach out to people with the love of Christ in simple, practical ways. This will be held on the first Saturday of each month, rain or shine, meeting at Compass by 10:30am!

Great for everyone: families, individuals, mission groups, and even those with little or no outreach experience at all. Just show up! Come out and meet others at Compass as we go out and serve for less than an hour. We'll meet back at church, eat some pizza and hear some cool outreach stories!
